ROMAN RULE IN MODERN DAY BULGARIAN LANDS
The meeting on the 9th of March 2017 was held in lecture hall 272 and was dedicated to the topic of Roman rule and its influence on the modern-day Bulgarian lands. Guest lecturers included prof. Dilyana Boteva-Boyanova, PhD (Faculty of History), a specialist in the field of Ancient history and Thracology, and asst. prof. Lyuba Radulova, PhD. (Faculty of Classic and Modern Philology). Prof. Boyanova marked the Roman-era borders of the province of Misia and overviewed the most significant events in the life of the province during these times. Asst. prof. Radulova's report concerned the topic of the Latin epigraphic historical sources, which have been discovered throughout Bulgarian lands.
